Equipping the Cinema Hall of Rosha Center Complex, Zanjan

The Rosha Center Cinema Hall in Zanjan is one of Rezco’s notable projects in the design, equipping, and execution of multipurpose cultural halls. The project was completed in March 2018 with a capacity of 242 seats, making it known as Zanjan’s first private cinema.

A key aspect of this project was designing and equipping a hall that would not be limited to cinema use, but could also function as a conference hall, amphitheater, and concert hall. Therefore, the space design, material selection, lighting, acoustics, and seating model were all planned with a multipurpose approach.

Project Design and Execution Approach

Equipping a cinema involves more than installing seats or applying interior decoration. The final quality depends on several factors, including acoustic design, standard lighting, suitable seating, visual coordination of the interior, and the audience experience.

At Rosha Center, Rezco integrated all these elements into the design and execution process to create a standard, comfortable, and professional venue for multiple applications.

Hall Acoustics: A Key Element of Project Quality

One of the most important aspects of this project was the implementation of acoustic treatment using Silent acoustic panels. In addition to high sound absorption, these panels are fire-resistant and moisture-resistant, helping improve the hall’s acoustic performance.

This material enables the hall to deliver clear sound and controlled reflections during film screenings, conferences, and musical performances.

Interior Decoration and Lighting

The walls, ceiling, and flooring were designed using a combination of fabric and carpet to create a warmer, more professional appearance while also improving the hall’s acoustic conditions.

To complete the performance space, Chanel curtains for opening and closing ceremonies, together with the required rails and motors, were installed.

The project lighting system included:

• Concealed lighting
• Step-edge lighting
• General hall lighting

Together, these features created a standard and functional environment for cinema, concerts, and formal events.

Seating Used in the Project

The hall was equipped with the R-2014 cinema seat, a professional and efficient choice for cultural venues and multipurpose halls.

This seat features a single-base structure, a fixed cushion, and a backrest with a movable spring mechanism, providing suitable comfort for extended use.

Key features of the R-2014 seat in this project include:

• Ergonomic design for greater audience comfort
• Movable spring-operated backrest
• Plastic armrests with a cup holder
• Flame-retardant cold foam in the cushion and backrest
• Option of premium Iranian fabric or Turkish and European fabrics according to project requirements
• High durability under continuous and heavy use

These features make the R-2014 suitable not only for cinemas, but also for amphitheaters, conference halls, and concert venues.

Final Project Result

The Rosha Center Cinema Hall project in Zanjan is a successful example of combining technical design, professional execution, and appropriate equipment selection. By addressing the client’s multiple requirements, Rezco created a modern, efficient, and standard venue suitable for both film screenings and cultural and formal events.
