The cinema halls of Shemiran Center are among the most modern cinema complexes in northern Tehran. The equipping, decoration, and furnishing project was completed in 2019 by Rezco. With a total capacity of 370 seats, the project was implemented using the latest standards in multipurpose hall design, acoustic decoration, and advanced audio-visual systems.
Rezco’s approach combined modern interior aesthetics with the technical and engineering requirements of sound and image, creating a distinctive environment suited to the needs of today’s audiences in the capital.
Interior Decoration and Acoustic Architecture
The acoustic engineering and decoration of Shemiran Center’s halls were designed to minimize sound reflection and deliver the highest possible level of audio clarity:
- Wall acoustics: Decorative acoustic panels with a Wood Wool finish were used. In addition to excellent sound-frequency absorption, they give the hall walls a modern, textured appearance.
- Ceiling acoustics: Standard acoustic tiles were installed to control sound reflection from the ceiling.
- Lobby design: The cinema’s waiting and lobby area was designed and executed in a Green Wall style, conveying freshness, luxury, and calm before visitors enter the halls.
- Technical areas: A central control room was designed and equipped for integrated management of lighting, sound, and image systems.

- Visual system: Professional Panasonic projectors, together with advanced imaging cameras, provide exceptional resolution, contrast, and brightness on the cinema screens.
Cinema Seating and Furnishing
The seats installed in Shemiran Center’s halls are Rezco cinema and amphitheater seats selected with a focus on ergonomic support and durability:
- Ergonomic structure: Single-base seats with fixed cushions and backrests equipped with a movable spring mechanism that follows the viewer’s body movements and helps prevent fatigue during long screenings.
- Body materials: The visible backrest shell is made of high-quality plastic resistant to impact and abrasion.
- Dual-purpose armrests: The armrests are made of durable injection-molded plastic and include a cup holder. They can be upholstered to match the seat fabric or finished in soft, durable integral material.
